The family doctor provides advice and prescribes treatment, issues medical certificates on health conditions for adults (drivers, employees, etc.) and children (kindergartens, schools), sick leave, and prescriptions for reimbursable and non-reimbursable medicines. Refer you to specific specialists when needed.
A family doctor provides advice on acute and chronic diseases, disease prevention and healthy lifestyle, draws up an individual health check-up plan, recommends health check-ups and examination programmes, prescribes laboratory and instrumental tests, and vaccinations.
